Woori Dongsaeng (Our Little Siblings)
The world’s first co-operative veterinary clinic
The world’s first co-operative veterinary clinic
Back in 2013, eight Mapo area residents imagined a veterinary clinic owned and operated by people with companion animals. The news spread quickly and about 200 people joined together to pool money in order to establish a general-purpose co-operative that later became a vehicle for a social co-operative. After two years of preparation, Woori Dongsaeng opened in June 2015, with 600 human and 1,200 animal members. As of February 2017, Woori Dongsaeng has a membership of 1,400 human and 2,500 animal members.
Our two veterinarians have been in practice for 15+ combined years and are capable of caring for both cats and dogs.
